SECURITY
Free app, where it is very easy to register your vessel and your navigation plan. Follow the steps below to enter your emergency contacts and your vessel in the app. Choose from the options menu whether you want to plan a voyage (Navigation Plan Function) or simply activate only one tracking (Tracking Function). To plan your voyage, choose your vessel, enter the ETA (estimated time of arrival), add the number of people on board and the type of activity. On the maps select the starting point, waypoints and destination point. Once you have entered these data select “Start voyage” when you are ready to set sail.
Clicking on “Start trip” registers your navigation plan in the Salvamento Maritimo servers and activates the tracking of your positions in the application. Your position data is periodically transmitted to our system (as long as there is telephone coverage) and an alert message is sent to your contacts in case of exceeding 30 minutes ETA. During your voyage you can finalize your trip or review the data entered on ETA, number of people on board and destination. In addition, it allows you to:
- Improve your trip planning by using a customized checklist, which can become part of your navigation plan.
- Quickly start a voyage using the “tracking function” by pressing the corresponding button.
- Record up to 20 trips and play them back later.

Beach Guide – Magrama
Spain has approximately ten thousand kilometers of coastline, with more than three thousand beaches. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, through the Directorate General of Sustainability of the Coast and Sea, has promoted a project to compile updated information on our beaches, with the aim of informing citizens about this valuable natural heritage. In addition to the Beach Guide already available on the Ministry’s website (www.magrama.gob.es), this app is now available for viewing on mobile devices.
In this way, citizens will have even easier access to updated information about our beaches, through various search criteria (by name, province and locality, services…). It will be possible to save favorite beaches, visualize nearby beaches or know the distance separating one beach from another. It offers information of interest such as, for example: description, access and services of each beach, weather information, environmental aspects of the surroundings, nearby marinas, among other data.
