In terms of security, a system designed by Menorcamar has been installed on the vessel, which is in the patent process and integrates electronic components such as a SIMRAD GO 7 chart plotter, a Tablet with communications, a set of integrated sensors that generate alerts with relevant information and a system of continuous communications of these alerts to the vessel itself and to the office.
The Navionics chart is used with bathymetry, points of interest including coves, rocks and also restaurants with telephone numbers to make reservations from the boat while sailing. The application allows you to select a destination and choose the best safe route giving an approximate time of arrival, with the ship’s GPS it takes you day and night, of special value when we lose visual references.
With the integration of the communication components and systems, alerts are generated that reach the ship and the office at the same time due to shocks, speed, lack of battery, water in the bilge, being anchored in protected areas… The security system allows access to the weather forecast , knowing the route of nearby ships, access to the operating instructions of the ship’s components.
